Maria, a young woman intending to become a nun, is sent from the convent to the home of widowed sea captain Georg Ritter von Trapp as a governess for his seven children. At first, the children did not treat her quite friendly and tried to harm her, however, after Maria introduced them to singing, they loved her with all their hearts. Maria discovers that she herself is in love with the captain, who was engaged to a wealthy baroness. The Baroness, however, recognizes his growing feeling for Mary and lets him go so they can be together.
As a result of the forcible annexation of the country to Nazi Germany, a Nazi regime is established in Austria, and Captain von Trapp is trying to return to military service. He, not wanting to serve the Reich, delays his departure, insistently convincing Gauleiter Zeller that, as a member of the von Trapp family ensemble of singers, he must be with them during the performance at the city music festival, in the guarded theater, and that after the concert he will definitely go to serve. However, after the performance, without appearing at the presentation of the first prize, the whole family escapes and moves across the mountains to Switzerland. Additional information: Dubbing and polyphony from Film-Prestige are taken from the distribution of nickintheforest, for which he is more grateful. The first polyphony is taken from the regional BluRay edition of the film. I put it first, because the quality is better than that of the dubbing (which contains inserts of a polyphonic translation due to the fact that in the USSR the film was released much more truncated than what was released on BluRay) and polyphonies from Film-Prestige. It is disappointing that in all three roads some songs have been translated (including the famous "Edelweiss" at the beginning). It is easier to explain the reason for their translation in old voice acting, but the logic of the translators in the new BD multiple voices is incomprehensible to me. In any case, this film should be watched only in the original, fortunately, the subtitles are both complete and forced (inscriptions and translation of songs). Release Type: BDRip 1080p
