发烧捡漏这个系列文章开篇已经有两三个月了，遇到很多不同朋友

的咨询和一些奇奇怪怪的问题，但还是

第一次遇到刚入门的老外。

这个老外是外企高管，有个中文名叫—巴布，是自嘲下里巴人布衣，还是？

对这么有中国文化深度的名字，我给个双手的点赞。

一般而言，我对于外国人是敬而远之的，在人生经历中除了正常工作交集的外国音

响设计师，Steve Hewlett、Peter Comeau和A LI以外，其实认识的外国人

并不多。但这次巴布给了我非常良好的印象。巴布是用微信在和我聊天的，但

是到最后才告知我是用的翻译软件，我很奇怪，翻译软件真的能

把发烧的专业性描述得很清楚吗？但估

计还是烧友之间的心有灵犀。

巴布家在深圳的丰泽湖附近，客厅不大，有十多个平米的客厅，他找我

的目的是想让我帮他参考一下几个配置哪个更适合他的听音喜好和他的空

间大小。通过一通理论和实际的沟通，最后在他要确定购买

的时候，我建议他还是到公司的听音室实际聆听之后再确定。

巴布来公司的时候，我刚好在外出差，他表示比较遗憾，发

烧友之间的感情热度，在某些时候

可能还真是超越了闺蜜。

巴布最后的选择是英国QUAD国都的VENA功放+英国WHARFEDALE的钻石10.2，

音源选择的是奥莱尔的X5S，线材是公司定制的“非著名”发烧线材。

这是他对这次配置音响器材的评论：

“You don’t know what you like until you listen yourself” This is what the person from the store responded to me. I can relate to it as I am a hobbyist photographer and just like images in photography sound can be very subjective, one person’s liking may not be another person’s favorite and vice versa. I was delighted by the presales and after sales service of this store. Being in sales myself I can understand how important it is for a customer to be consulted honestly and guide them to get the right product they need and they want. Although my idea of making a purchase was completely based on online reviews and YouTube videos, it was not realistic as none of these platforms gave me a true representation of the actual sound I will be hearing.

I was invited to the store and the different options I wanted to check and compare were arranged. I was surprised as how accurate the suggestion of the store managers was and it was from their many years of experience. I changed my mind from my preconceived ideas and went with the setup I liked the best, based on my hearing. After my purchase the managers visited my room to setup my system and calibrate it according to the room acoustics. I couldn’t be more satisfied about this level of customer service.

I would like to suggest any music enthusiastic or someone who is starting out this hobby, not to be in rush to spend their hard-earned money based on reading or video reviews neither on some friend’s suggestion as the preference of sound can be very subjective. The best solution is to visit your nearest dealer and listen to the options available there and consult a professional like DACHAN. I can highly recommend them.
