Hello Lee Tan,
       Thank you very much for your email....my apologies for not
responding earlier as I was away from my office.

The ET1000 is a very old product and is no longer in production....however
it is a genuine Beyerdynamic product.

After reading your mail,i understand a lot.
But i am still confused by a question:normal et1000's lid is covered with a
material which looks like a kind of wool,but mine has a steel headphone
cover,why?

Hello Lee Tan,
       Kindly find reply to your last question from our engineer in
Germany.

I think that you have purchased a very old used product and you should go
back to the company you purchased from to get more assurances.
At this point we can do very little if this product does not meet your
requirements.

However please keep in touch if you decide to upgrade to a later model.
